Sports:

Sachin Tendulkar, aged 36, has broken one more record. He has become the first man to score a double century in ODIs. His unbeaten 200, against South Africa in Gwalior, was his 46th ODI century and he batted through 50 overs. Mr. Tendulkar surpassed the previous record of 194 by Saeed Anwar of Pakistan and Charles Coventry of Zimbabwe.

This is Australia’s second World Cup title. The Aussies had earlier won the title way back in 1986 in London but lost out in the finals against Germany in the last two World Cup finals in Kuala Lumpur (2002) and Monchengladbach, Germany (2006).
